Donald Sterling

The man above is the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers.  He is also the most infamous name in the basketball community at this moment. Why? For being a racist.  A leaked phone conversation with his girlfriend shed light on the real nature of this man. A small excerpt from his racist tirade is as follows:

"I think the fact that you admire [Magic] -- I've known him well, and he should be admired," Sterling replies. "And I'm just saying that it's too bad you can't admire him privately. And during your ENTIRE FUCKING LIFE, your whole life, admire him -- bring him here, feed him, fuck him, I don't care. You can do anything. But don't put him on an Instagram for the world to see so they have to call me. And don't bring him to my games. OK?"

This is a man who does not need to own a basketball team anymore.  Everyone of notoriety in the basketball world has spoken out against this man names which include NBA commissioner Adam Silver and Lebron James.  Other NBA owners are doing everything that they can to explore the options to get rid of his ownership of the Clippers and get him removed from the basketball community.  Players have staged a silent protest against him by turning their warm up jerseys inside out, and throwing clothes with the clippers logo on the middle of the basketball floor.

I hope that these owners and commisioners will find a way to get rid of him and find a way soon.  A NBA media presser will be held today sometime to address the situation, and reveal the actions they are trying to take.  Hopefully, the end result will be to get him out of power and away from the league.

2k14

2k14 is probably the best basketball game option that anyone has available to them.  The 2k series has outlasted NBA Live, NBA Street, and any other franchise that is into basketball game production.  Even so, I don't think this product is entirely fulfilling to my standards.  I do not like the mechanics they have for stealing in this series especially.  Players now just continually swipe at the ball, and more than likely they get it if the ball is in the hands of a big man.  I think they need to change this with the next version.  I thought this would be fixed on the next-gen systems (PS4 and XBOX 1) but to my disappointment, it is basically the same struggle on there as well.  They also don't have people dunking as much in the games.  Now I was ok with most of the other things I had to endure, but the barely dunking thing is ridiculous.  Even with known dunkers the dunks are limited.  Players don't finish at the rim like you expect them to or anything.  It's just terrible on the offensive end to me.  I think they should have put more time into this production and really analyzed that the changes they implemented for the most part detracted from the experience more than helped it.
Now you can say what you want about Jay-Z music I don't really care about that.  But, he helped make the 2k game I liked the most.  I think 2k13 had its own set of flaws and could have done some things a little better as well, but as far as an overall finished product I would still choose this one first.  Maybe the problems I have with 14 will be fixed on 15 but you never know.  Just gotta wait and see that is about the only option available since I'm not on the development team.  I need to be though, I would have it poppin.

2014 NBA Playoffs

The playoffs started this past Saturday, and I am not that happy with the results.  I wanted the Heat to lose, because my mom is a Heat fan and I don't want them to win another ring this year.  They playing the bobcats though, so the chances of an upset are very slim.  The entire Eastern Conference wasn't all that good this year either, but maybe they will pick it up in the playoffs.
My Team is the THUNDER.  Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook gonna take home the trophy this year, and nothing anybody can say gonna change my opinion.  We gotta tough first round match with the grizzlies this year, but nothing worth having is going to be easy.  Even in the NBA.
The official announcement hasn't been made yet either but you can believe this year that this next image is going to be true.
KD is going to be the MVP this year without a doubt.  And not the Grizzlies, Spurs, Rockets, Clippers, Pacers, Or Heat going to stop him from getting that Finals MVP and Championship trophy.
